He’s shot hundreds of hours of television, multiple pilots, television movies and a feature film. He has received numerous nominations for Gemini Awards, Canadian Screen Awards and was honoured with a Directors Guild Award for Best Achievement in Direction for the television movie, Mayerthorpe.
Recently Ken directed episodes of BBC America’s cult hit Orphan Black. Other credits include multiple episodes of Vikings (History Channel), Copper (BBC America), Damages, Rescue Me (FX Networks), Unforgettable, 3LBS (CBS), Law & Order Criminal Intent (NBC), Combat Hospital (ABC), Covert Affairs, Burn Notice, White Collar and Royal Pains (USA Network). Pilots and movies for television Ken has shot include Sabbatical, Cra$h & Burn, The Dealership, Befriend & Betray and the multi-award winning television film Mayerthorpe.
Ken is active on the development front, and has adapted two novels for the screen. He is slated to produce and direct the feature film “Buzz Me” and is working with Temple Street Productions developing a major television series. In addition Ken is attached to various other projects, which he is either co-creating or writing.
He splits his time between New York and Toronto but his work has taken him to Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, South Africa, South-East Asia, Sri Lanka, India and various countries in Latin America. Ken continues to travel frequently to Spain, a country for which he has had a long-standing affinity.
